He worked for two years in healthcare software at Epic Systems Corporation, writing and implementing electronic medical record software for large hospital systems.
Dr. Yang decided that he wanted to work directly with patients, and obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He completed his urology residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Subsequently, he completed a Sexual Medicine fellowship at the University of South Florida, where he also served as a Clinical Instructor.
Dr. Yang has presented his research at sectional, national, and international conferences. He has multiple articles published in peer-reviewed journals and serves as a reviewer for several journals. He has co-authored two book chapters on sexual and orgasmic dysfunction that are in press. He currently serves as co-editor of the Men’s Health section of the journal Current Urology Reports.
Dr. Yang joined North Austin Urology in 2015. He sees patients with all urological diseases, and has a special interest in the medical and surgical treatment of erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, and low testosterone.
